Come work with us!
We've already cast our 2017 season. If you are interested in auditioning for us in the future, please send a headshot and resume to us here to be considered. We do not accept walk-ins or video submissions.
We are always looking for talented artists behind the scenes as well. If you are a costume designer, a stage manager, a vocal coach, a fight choreographer, or a director, please submit a resume here. Please note that at this time we are not looking for new plays or set, light, and sound designers.
"Muse of Fire has been an indispensable part of my artistic journey. I was able to sharpen and hone my skills on a stage with minimal design elements that relies primarily on its actors to tell its stories. You also get the opportunity to really dig into the text with the gold mine of knowledge that is Jemma Levy. Her vast expertise and experience are incomparable and can take performers to new heights through in depth discussion, respect and exploration of classical work. I have no doubt that the time I spent on the Muse of Fire stage fostered the artistic growth that has propelled me onto Chicago's prestigious stages." -- Christina Hall (advisory company member; Celia in As You Like It; Kate in The Taming of the Shrew)
"[Jemma Alix Levy] is intelligent, trusting, caring, and knows how to bring the best out of her actors...[I] instantly felt at ease." -- Reggie Robinson, Jr. (company member; Pistol in Henry V; Porter in Macbeth; Friar Laurence in Romeo and Juliet; Caius Lucius in Cymbeline; Pericles in Pericles)
